September 10, 2011 -- Homemade Ice Cream will be sold during the Parade in downtown Wellinton.
October 1, 2011 -- Farewell to the Bridge, Pioneer Park on US83 north of Wellington. Barbecue, home made ice cream, etc., at noon followed by a last opportunity for photographs on the truss bridge across Salt Fork of Red River before it is demolished in 2012.

After the Lighting of the Square, Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit the museum to talk with children and pose for photographs.
